The Margaret and John Kalman Trust are generously sponsoring six prizes of $5000 for primary, intermediate and secondary teachers to acknowledge and support the amazing work being done by mathematics and statistics teachers in the Auckland region. For full details and to nominate a teacher, please take a look at the application forms.
The PMA are keen to support enthusiastic mathematics teachers by sponsoring teachers to either attend mathematics conferences or undertake tertiary study.
A maximum of $500 is available for local conferences (this also includes Australia) to cover fees etc. The same amount is also available for fees for university papers that teachers may be undertaking.
For international conferences (outside Australia and New Zealand) a maximum of $1000 is available.
